I just purchase the game Risen…….but I got it for the Xbox360. I read the review and the 360 version scored lower then the PC. So far the game has been ok. The only problem I have is looking around the controls are very touchy. The fighting is also taking some time to get use to.
I had the distinct displeasure of playing Risen on the 360 for an hour or so, and the controls are simply atrocious in comparison to the PC version, and the interface was clearly made with a mouse in mind.

You picked up a vastly inferior version of the game, yes. Some people I know still enjoyed it though, but then they don't play games on PCs, the heathens.
If you're interested in checking out the PC version there is a demo available from Deep Silver (or elsewhere). The demo contains the tutorial areas and will let you get an idea of how well it will run on your system and how the controls work.

Yeah that not a bad idea my computer is getting old that why I when for the 360 version.
Ive played Xbox and PC versions.

The PC controls much better, but in my opinion the console version was more stable
Well, you also picked up the version that you can trade or swap with someone if you end up not liking it (or just being done with it), so it's not a total loss.
