Did anyone else have problems with GOG Weekend Promo? A friend wanted to get me one as gift but his bank was charged,i didnt get the email & the games were still in his cart w00t...
When is support answering tickets??? It's weird considering this is a very huge week-end promo & In case of hardware/software glitches etc ..pfff... xD

Have your friend check his gifts tab in under "my account". If his purchase went thru, the gift code should be there (he might've mispelled your e-mail or something). If it's not there and games did not come to his account either, he should contact support.

Standard polish business hours in weekdays (around 8:00-16:00, UTC +1). They do tend to have skeleton crew on weekends and outside business hours in case or emergencies.
They will answer you back for sure, since it was weekend your ticket might be answered a bit later. They have to answer lot of mails during the promo's and no one is at the offices during the weekends I think.

Actually his friend is the one that should send the support ticket as game was purchased from his account. Information about transactions is confidential and GOG staff would have to talk about them with andreyllidan's friend (who made the purchase) and not with andreyllidan.

Well this sucks,my friend didnt get a response from them & the games arent in any tab either ...
WTF are they doing???????????????????What is this sorcery... xD
They should have a live chat for emergency stuff like these :| Especially since there arent people working in the week-end i think & when promos like this end up with bad hardware/software glitches pfff...awesome...

Explain to me how exactly that constitutes an emergency. Is someone's live in danger? Will the matter be unsolvable if not dealt with immediately? Will we have to welcome our new insect overlords?

Well it's so easy for you to speak huh....
And today's Tuesday pfff....so i guess there's probably lots of support tickets since it's taking this long.
I had high expectations from GOG ..... After getting all games on Steam,GOG was the next i planned to get all the games on (oldies but goldies that most platforms/retailers don't have :D ofc for some oldies but goldies i wasnt gonna wait to collect all Steam games anyway, some have priority like Heroes of Might & Magic 3 Complete etc ) But now this problem hmm -.- ....
Also no need for sarcasm dude ;) you got too much spare time i guess eh.
These issues will probably take quite a few days since it wasn't solved during the week-end (Week-end Promo ,Randalator dude, DDDUUUH? They were surely optimistic on the hardware and/or software to leave the customers who had issues,boiling :D ) and it wasn't solved untill now either & it's Tuesday. SO you might understand why in my mind i say nice stuff about your familly tree Randalator :D and all the trolls wannabee.
+ No official post on why it's taking so long since there are probably multiple support tickets if it's taking so long in the first place :D So go troll somewhere else Randalator.

Actually, now that I think about it, shouldn't there be two messages? Purchase confirmation for the purchaser and "you have received a gift" message for the recipient. Also, as I said earlier, the gift should be in buyers gift tab under my account as well.

That I am not sure of myself but it's still best to check the spam box :) I had one fellow asking us on FB about why he's not getting any answers from Support when it turns out the answer was, you guessed it, in his spam box :)
