The intro is as nice as any other made by Blizzard. It seems somewhat superfluous to make such intro for a game comprised of merely clicking the shit out of everything, though.

+1 @ klaymen: Intro looks nice.
Can't help but I think this feels like Call of Duty:
1. Evil is rising (Diablo, Terrorists, Azmodan, Al Quaida,...)
2. We're doomed, NPC (Leah, Deckard Cain, UN, NATO) are terrified.
3. Brainless action.
4. Hero will save the day!
= millions of dollars ;)

I was expecting something like Hellgate: London's intro, this didn't impress me much. Though it doesn't change the fact that I'm gonna play it 7/24 once it releases. :)

Edit: Not saying this is a bad thing. I like action RPGs and action games as a whole.

Actually I believe Diablo to be the perfect embodiment of my childhood days of roleplaying heroes: Just brainless murder-monster action.
In fact, it reminds me of classic super sentai series... in a way. :P
So... it is a RPG, just focusing on a children's approach to role playing. ;)

Diablo was an item farming simulator, and it will always be. I just love it this way. :D

Selecting your hero class just changes the way you grind the shit out of everything....err...play your role.

As a fan of older Blizzard games I'm wondering if anyone else then me is, being bothered by the storytelling in them.
Every game from D2 until now boils down to the rise of an ancient evil and some kind of prophecy on a grand scale. In the context of D2 that was an ok plot, but to redo it in every game from then on is ridiculous.
Now even the older games with simpler plots look better just because they don't use the same banal boring formula.
