.... Is going to be an FPS on the iPad and iPhone only.

Well, that's this weeks allotment of disappointment taken care of.

Don't get me wrong, I own an iPad4 and enjoy a lot of games on it, with telltales games arguably being even better than they are on PC. But I'm yet to come across a single FPS on my iPad that I've enjoyed, it's always a chore to fight against the touch controls with these.

The response on their facebook page and the announcement vid on youtube is almost universally negative. They hyped up a bunch of PC and console gamers with the teaser and they're not too happy with the result.

I could never understand how putting thumbs in front of your screen could be applied to games. If anything, it completely ruins the immersion.

I´m not surprised; it´s even better then I expected it:
I thought of a social-F2P-Browsergameshit.
In comparision to this "The Fall" is no really hard disappointment, although its not good anyway...
(I´m no fan of non-PC-mobile-devices)

First of all I want Human Revolution here: This is much more important than anything dealing with DeusEx else!
This is a solid title ... you know : a title full of irony. How could they fall so low ?

Lol, an iFag game
I went from absolute shock to dismissal. Going mobile with DX feels absurd and I was ready to blow up their studio, then I realized it's some stupid side story and whatever. I just don't care now.

This. I literally cannot play FPS' on my smartphone or tablet because of the shoddy nature of touch controls in a 3D environment. Mechanically, it's fucking terrible. Literally, I'll turn off the v-pad in any game that has it, if I can, because it's just as bad.

Deus Ex: The Fall from Grace... Well, the last one, while not bad, still felt more like Solid Snake Human Gear Revolution, So... disappointing, but not horribly so.

Well I only discover about it yesterday so I didn't had time to expect anything and therefor I cannot really say that I am disappointed. Still even if it as numerous flaws I would have been pretty happy if it was a sequel to DXHR.

It doesn't help that, while plenty of people have a smartphone or tablet, quite a lot opt for Android instead of iOS, so to buy this you have (1) to want a mobile Deus Ex game, and (2) to have chosen Apple. Whoever planned this must have some interesting Venn diagrams of market demographics.

Since I was the bearer of bad news I must atone. One lucky GOGer can shrug off this news by playing a brand spanking new GOG copy of Deus Ex GOTY edition!

Redeemed! And the blow is cushioned for Titanium, congrats!

You never asked for it, but you get it anyways! =D

Lame!

Look, Squeenix, we can talk about this more once you decide to do an actual follow-up to Human Revolution. Until then, I'm just not interested. >_>
