Not in, as I already own it (thanks, kazmar!), but thanks and +1 for your generosity, P1na!

♬ Is this love? What a feeling! It must be love... ♬
Not in but a +1 to you, P1na!

Actually, if possible I'll enter for Hardrada. Cheers!
Not going to lie. I have the ROM and I want it WITHOUT the ROM. :D That's why the TL freebee was so nice.
Already got it, so thanks:
But I´d like to be in for TinyE!

I am in.

P1na: 1- Why do you want to play this game? Whether you like choice-filled gameplay, convoluted conspiratory storylines, or you simply have an electric prod anal fetish, tell me why you want this game more than anyone else asking for it.
2- Why would you rather buy any other game over "Deus Ex"? Because it's going to get cheap. Why is it that you don't want to spend a couple euros for this fantastic game, and are resorting to a giveaway instead?
1. Because when I checked the dictionary for words "epitome of epicness" there was the photo of JC Denton there, and scrolling up to the word "badass" showed up a photo of a prod. Then I thought: what the hell - JC Denton for President!
2. I'd lie if I'd say I would buy it over another game - I'd buy it with another game!
That being said, I'm still gathering pennies (and I'm being deadly serious here) to put up a small giveaway myself as a sign of recognition to so many amazing people that lurk around GOG. So yea, that's how broke I am these days (or was it months already?). :)

But: thank you for your consideration and generosity!
Until the deadline all's good here: peace, love, understanding and balls scratching. :D
1.) I love stealth games with a passion, and despite being a fan of the cyberpunk aesthetic, I've never played a game that had it, and I'd like to remedy that. Furthermore, Deus Ex is apparently a very good game, a classic perhaps even, and that makes it all the more desirable to make it the first cyberpunk game to play.

2.) Because with the wide assortment of great games to choose from, and a limited budget per month, a man has to make choices. Choices that sometimes result in him not being able to play other games that are also great. Deus Ex is high on my list, but it's not amongst the top five. Top ten though? Rather.

Answering question 2 first: because I don't know what to expect. From the few gameplay videos I have seen, it looks like a story-heavy FPS, and in general I am less into FPS than, say, point-and-click adventures.

But then there are things like this:

Bigs: Must... resist... urge... to ... reinstall.... ;)

P1na: you can try, but we both know you'll fail
which suggests that this game is really so great, and I have always felt like I have missed out on something. On top of discussions and exchanges between those who have played Deus Ex, I have seen in the reviews that there are often alternative solutions other than the obvious shoot-them-up solution (which is probably really the point of this game,
"deus ex machina"). Multiple solutions are something many point-and-click games fail to deliver, although they really should!

So the bottom line is, if Deus Ex can be played more like a good adventure game with not too heavy FPS components, then I would definitely really want to try it!

I very much hope that this game will be in a better sale sometime this week, e.g. a cyberpunk pack.

Bad news. I just lost my wallet, which included my bank card. I actually know the card number by hard, so I could still buy here, but in order to get a new one delivered I need to report it as lost, which means it gets locked and then I can't buy anymore. I'll call a few favors from my friends to at least buy the games on my wishlist, but asking for money to buy videogames to random people on the internet may be pushing it a little. I'm not sure how long it will be until I fix the situation, but if Deus Ex goes out of sale before that I may have to cancel the giveaway.
Deus Ex is a story heavy FPS, though it funny that most cut-scenes run less than a minute or two. And they say more than the new wave of cinematic experiences we have now in gaming.

A lot of the story is delivered by the world and your interactions with it. Great gameplay for many different styles, which inevitably opens up the game for multiple playthroughs.
Great giveaway, P1na! Count me in for Grargar, if allowed :)

1) I already have it installed on steam, and I'm just waiting for the right time to play it. I played the tutorial and the first level, and it seems like a game that you could lose hours in (if you learn the mechanics and controls thoroughly).
2) While DX seems like an amazing game, it is usually hard for me to get into games based around the Thief engine. The default controls are really weird, and even when I reconfigure the controls, they still seem off. Aside from that, though, I'd play it right now.
False alarm, found my wallet. And while I did cancel the Irish card, the Basque one still works, which is cool with GOG. Giveaway is still on.

P1na: Blah blah DX giveaway
Again P1na?..

geez... will you ever give up?

That's cool!... but, you know.. even your wallet is running from you... that should be a hint.. ;p

Nah, it wasn't running, just hiding. That's no hint. Now, a hint might be that in order to save money, the last week I've only eaten the (free) breakfast at whichever hostel I'm staying at, a waffle, an ice cream and a small pack of fries. And 2 of those items were mostly for nostalgia value. I don't even get a sandwich for 3€ during lunch break at the office. Yet, despite it all, I'm still willing to host this giveaway.

This hints on my absolutely adoring this game, and no I don't think I'll ever give up in trying to get other people to play it. To the dismay of my real-life friends, I may add.

Then that's why your crown is looking down and so yellowish...

Your love for this game is really something to admire.. or to be worried!.
Either way, thank you.. ;p

Worried. Definately worried.

And you're welcome.
