1: Because I played DE:HR, and I thought that was amazing. I would like to play it's predecessor.

2: Because I currently have no cash to spare.
1.) I've heard a lot a good things about the game.
2.) I usually prefer turn-based strategy/rpg's over fps's, but it's one of those games I've thought about trying because of I've heard a lot of good things about it.
1) I went through two copies on ps2, and then it became the first game I ever bought for PC. Now the disc is so scratched it makes a hip hop mix from the 80s seem uncut. To make it worse I was gifted desu ex HR a month or two ago (great game) but the damn saves keep corrupting and now i have a salivating urge to play deus ex!
2) I've completed it something like 50 times at least.
Not entering as I already own it both on Steam and GOG, but +1 for the giveaway. It's a fantastic game.
1. Played Human Revolution, liked it, want to try others in the series and the first seems to get a lot of praise.

2. Don't have that many PC games since I used to favor consoles until earlier this year, which makes my to-get list fairly large and my game funds rather lacking. Deus Ex tends to get overlooked for higher-priority stuff.

Dice5: Hehe good thing to say you're still carrying this giveway my friend. Warren Spector will be proud.
Well, Warren Spector should just get his System Shock 2 here on GOG. I want to play it.

But I'm glad about seeing more people here now. I had a hard time convincing myself that nobody asked for it because everybody had already bought it. I've learned my lesson: start a new thread, don't recycle them because people don't check the same thing twice.
1. Watched gameplay videos, read awesome reviews and got hooked to buy it. It has been on my wishlist since it was released on GOG. I waited for a deal (steampunk and cyberpunk) and when I tried to buy it along the Witcher... well.. empty wallet x.x!!! With this giveaway, I have a second chance :)

2. I bought my childhood games and the ones I already love on the last holiday sale (when I still had money :P)
1. I loved Human Revolution, so I'd like to see where it all began.
2. Already budgeted out the remainder of my Christmas money.
1) Actually Deus Ex is pretty high on my priority list (definitely top 5 for classics) since its seems to be THE BEST(most critically claimed) game of its kind and I want to experience the best of almost every kind of game.

2. I actually haven't bought any game on gog this sale yet but If I had bought a single game it would be Heroes of Might and Magic III (also the best of its kind) it's probably the highest priority classic game for me that I don't have(probably because of it's genre). 2ndly I been holding off buying this game because it might be cheaper to buy all 3 Deus games bundled together and 75% sale on steam someday.

... and a question would you say the 2nd deus ex games is not worth playing at all? Will I lose out in story or gaming experience if I just play the first and 3rd game?

Thanks for the 2nd chance!

1. I played this when it came bundled with my video card and absolutely loved it. I since lent it to someone who subsequently destroyed the cd. With the retexture mods now available I would love to play through with a different character build.
2. The idea of buying a game twice because of carelessness angers me :|

Anyway, better the game goes to someone who hasn't played it. +1
I love futuristic steampunk settings in games, movies, books, so this one could be a winner.

My budget is quite limited (lately even more) so I buy only what I am certain I will love, and when I can, an occasional gift. So although I believe this one is great for me, I can't put it on top of my want list.
Nice giveaway. +1.

I still have my Green Man Gaming copy. Game can currently be bought there for $1.40 (I paid a whole $2; I was young and naive), and is DRM free when the New Vision patch is used.

P1na: 2. Why would you rather buy any other game over "Deus Ex"?

[Edited for grammar.]
Why would someone rather buy any other game over Deus Ex?

That's a really good question, Pina.

And I can tell you all that there's only a few legitimate answers to that question, and I can only think of 7:

1. You get confused or disoriented when playing games with a 1st-person perspective. I understand this and know several people who have this issue. Good reason.

2. You're a complete moron. Again, this is a good reason. Morons don't like Deus Ex.

3. You have an intense emotional connection to at least one other game that you wish to buy, and know little to nothing about Deus Ex. This is only a legitimate reason if, after buying the aforementioned other game(s), you then proceed to learn about Deus Ex.

4. You're under eleven years old. This is debatable, but I'd argue most fourteen-year-olds are still too young for Deus Ex, either for the realistic violence and genuine, intense emotional situations, or simply because they won't understand what's going on.

5. You strongly dislike negative views of the future, or have a strong aversion to specific elements of the subject matter, such as Cyberpunk themes or the idea of unnaturally modified people, for example.

6. You abhor violence. Hey, I don't blame you. Gun violence can be especially deplorable, especially these days when it seems like someone new is out there every week, gunning down some new group of people in an otherwise safe environment. It's scary stuff.

And the final legitimate reason I can think of for any of you to buy any other game over Deus Ex:

7. Someone is threatening you with violence or other severe negative consequences if you buy Deus Ex. It's probably not worth it. Probably.
