KneeTheCap: Life is cruel...especially for you wallet :D

Should I get this? I need to decide between dead island and this, since this time I can't get both :/

I haven't actually ever played the first Deus Ex more than an hour maybe, at least I've never finished it, so I'm "new" to this setting. I remember liking the first deus very, very much, though.

But Dead Island...

Or maybe I should just give up and use the money for games to gift here :D
Do you have Left 4 Dead or Dead Rising? If so, why get an also-ran? Those two games completely emcompass everything a zombie game has to offer. So why support "me too" development?

Get Deus Ex then, my friend says it's awesome. He is pretty much the biggest gamer I know, and he has never steered me wrong.
What is the best place to DD in the US?

Amazon had it for 35 USD. Done. Hope it works.

Gersen: By curiosity what are the "multiple ways", apart from killing them I haven't find any other way to dispatch them.

Luckily, even with my "stealth"-stunt gun using character they are dispatcher in something like 10 seconds (Typhoon -> Cereal -> Typhoon -> cereal -> Typhoon -> boss-dead)
You still have to kill them no matter what, but there are multiple ways to do so. I actually stunned Barrett with a concuss grenade, then spammed him with shotgun blasts until he dropped. Took less than 7 seconds in total. I also hear you can make use of the explosive barrels in there.
When I confronted Barrett, he ended up killing himself. I took cover in one of the side-rooms. Barrett couldn't see me, so he started popping grenades left and right. In the end, he blew up the barrels with poisonous materials and he walked right into the gas cloud. He started coughing, and shortly after, the cutscene started. :D

Smannesman: Ok, not sure how much help it will be though:
Gaco.nl
Salland Automatisering
Muizenshop.nl
4Launch.nl

Looks like I should've bought more than 1 copy, usually when I buy a collector's edition they end up in the bargain bins.
Thanks man

Amazing. Those elements mixed together is definitely like a sauce.

Just completed the game in almost 40 hours and I even didn't read all the ebooks as they're stored in media log. I need at least 1 hour to read them all, I guess :). This game is gonna be "game of the year" just like its predecessor, everyone should play it once.

Wow I took about 22 hours to complete it and I did read the e-books.
It would've taken me less if I didn't constantly reload to try different approaches.
I could have finished it in 20-25 hours, but I really used my time lol. I think I spent more than 5 hours in police station. They don't make games like this anymore so I didn't wanna rush.

:D

(I really took 50 hours, although had I not taken my own sweet time and constantly quickloaded, I would have probably completed it in 40 hours. Strange though because it doesn't seem to be as long as Deus Ex, yet it apparently took me longer to complete.)

Funny stuff, though a lot of the stuff they complain about is optional.
Have you seen Criken's video?

Death by vending machine!
Very good and fun videos. Both DX3 and DX1 are one of the best games I've ever played, but comparing them like that ain't really working. They are similar games, but from different era. Both have their issues and stupidities but that doesn't ruin the overall awesomeness of the games. Also, majority of both games problems only show up when you start to abuse the engine. Though, I've to admit that DX1s engine allows more freedom than DX3s.
TBH, nitpicking about DX3s small problems and then praising DX1 is quite hypocritical. Just my opinion, no offences meant.
