Leroux: It's possible that GOG rejected it due to being the start of a series and not bringing closure to the story. I thought I read that somewhere, but it could just as well be a rumor or something I made up in my mind. ;)
You mean like Advent Rising? Or XIII?

Which will never see an end!

Yeah, maybe they think that's bad enough already, let's wait and see if those guys manage to finish their stories for a change, and if so we're offering the whole series.

It would be as wise as saying

"Well, we don't want to earn any money this month, and this is why we released The Ball instead of Deponia today"
Like I said, it's just a rumor, and maybe I created it myself because my memory deceived me. But apparantly such was their reasoning against The Journey Down, at least from the POV of the developers.
But Journey Down is already known that the sequel is not likely to ever be made, and Deponia is brand new game.

No matter the reasons, it's a stupid , very stupid move to not release it while everybody else already did.

Let's just hope they'll release it tomorrow...
Waiting for a DRM free GOG release .

It is? Do you have a source?
Oh, sorry... I think I confused it for other game.

Well, if that was the reason for Journey Down, farely new game, that this is stupid beyond imagination.

Ah, I see. Maybe you confused it with Dreamfall -The Longest Journey? That one is supposed to end with a cliffhanger, too, I think.

No, sorry, that was MISINFORMATION, the sequel will be made, but it's not known how long it will take...

I don't know, it was fixed in my memory, that chapter one is the only chapter, but when I checked it out after your question, I couldn't find any info about that.

My brain needs a bugfix.

Which one is DRM free then? I'm not going to count Steam as "DRM free."
