Apparently, Stardock is giving half-off coupons to people who bought the game already, to make up for the fact that multiplayer won't be working properly until this week.

Hell, I think it is worth the 40 bucks. 20 is just a steal. I have the game and maybe I could get a hold of one of those coupons and hand it out later.

I don't get it, why are they giving the game owners coupons for 50% off the same game that they already own?

I think the idea is for you to give it to someone else..for the people that held off or crapped on it due to the MP issues, I guess.

Gotcha, I don't know, if I had bought a game I would've preferred 50% off my next purchase, or maybe even just 25%. Mainly because my friends don't play PC games. But I guess I could come here and give it like I did with the Battlefield key. All this is hypothetical, I didn't buy Demigod, so nobody get excited.

That makes plenty of sense for them. Gotta hook a new audience somehow.

I know that I probably wouldn't spend $40 on the game that easily, so $20 should soften the blow enough to make a purchase.
