Good stuff, momo! I just got the game, so not in, but I'd just like to say that I was fine (not keen, mind you) with FB when it started, as a mostly inter-collegiate network. Once grandmas and kindergärtners and crop-dusters started appearing on there, it went to shit. Happy I gave it up, and there's nothing that can drag me back on there!

Um, I might be categorized in that list ;-p Certainly my m-i-l is! And I was the one that helped her set up an account!

And a very fine lady she may be! But no amount of fine ladies can right the fuckwaddery that are the internet masses and the means of controlling and entertaining them. So, the point stands, it went to shit, and as these things are wont to, it can't be un-shat!

Same here. I've never quite understood the hatred for Facebook. As long as you handle your personal information with a bit of care and don't go posting every bit of compromising information about yourself, you should be fine. My life is split between Germany and the UK, and I have family and friends on both ends, so Facebook has really become essential for me.

For those people who don't have much contact outside of their home town, I can understand that FB is of lesser benefit.
