(So much for not doing a giveaway of my own. *smirk*)
Well, well. Seeing how we now have the fully functional Kilrathi Saga available - it's also Christmas time, and I'm feeling a lot more generous than I probably should be - I feel like doing a little giveaway for the entire Wing Commander pack available on GOG, not just the aforementioned part 1-3.
That's right! Wing Commander 1-4 + Privateer (x 3), baby! Yup, three's the lucky number. ;)
Now some of you may think: "Could I possibly play this with keyboard and/or mouse?" Well, possibly, if you're a true masochist, that is. Some gamepads seem to work okay with them though I've personally never tried that, but I really would highly recommend in playing them the way they were meant to be played: with a flight stick!
There are three requirements I have for entrants:
- You must have joined GOG before December 2012. Sorry, newbies, some of you will be getting games from me as is in that other giveaway.
- These gifts are not for trading/passing on purposes. If you do not want these games for yourself DO NOT APPLY!
- Lastly, to properly enter this giveaway you must attach a screenshot/picture of an actor from the cast of WC 3 or 4 appearing in a different body of work, including the name of his/her character and the work shown, may that be from another game or a movie in which they starred (i.e. Tom Wilson who portrayed Maniac, appearing as Biff Tannen in Back To The Future - note that because this is an example you may not use this particular one for this giveaway; also, please try not to copycat other people's entries if possible; plus points (that don't matter) if those actors are making goofy expressions)
That's about it. This giveaway will be open until sometime on Dec 25. I'll make sure to post when I'm not accepting entrants anymore. Winners will be chosen with the help of the popular random.org. Best of luck to ya!
