Dear GOG
Could you please get all the Paradox Games here on GOG because I love their games and would like nothing better than to see them all here on my favorite site. ( and would even buy them all over again )

kind regards

Summitus ( Andypandy )
Paradox is already offering most of their games DRM-free on their own digital distribution service, GamersGate. why would you need them on GOG, and the even better question, why would Paradox want to come to GOG?

GOG should just focus on games that AREN'T already available everywhere else. like the old EA games.

The price point might be a problem. Usually their games sold at $19.99, $29.99 and $39.99 for complete pack, which is always recommended to buy, since most recent bug fixes and improvement available in their latest expansion pack which is also need previous expansions (if available) to make it works. I don't think GOG customer will be happy to buy inferior version, and there will be massive backlash if they introduce another higher price point. Personally i'm fine with Paradox Games on Gamers Gate.
Actually, GG is not owned by Paradox (it used to be, but they split it into two companies).

There is actually one old Paradox(/Target Games) title that have not been released on Gamer's Gate: Drakar & Demoner: Själarnas Brunn (Dragonfire: The Well of Souls), but that game is not really noteworthy, other than for being based on Sweden's then most popular pen & paper RPG.
And for having a Duck as a playable character.

Why would Paeadox want to come to GOG ? .... Maybe as another place to sell their games perhaps , after all they sell them everywhere else do they not ?
That reminds me, GOG should get the DotEmu games that are still missing from here, even if I won't personally buy them again from GOG.

And Amnesia + Penumbras!

I knew of these games just recently and I am currently thinking of trying one of them (CK2 most likely, as it seems to be the mos newb-friendly). Should any of them appear here on GOG this "maybe" would become "insta-buy" so yes, please.

But aren't they still owned by the same parent company?

A number of Paradox games wouldn't fit into the existing price structure (eg Crusader Kings ][ @ $40, Hearts of Iron III Complete @ $30).

In addition GOG isn't set up to handle DLC, so games like Warlock would be be problematic

Yes I guess that is a couple of good points. :)
There are no pricepoints for new games, god dammit...
Also, what about the older ones, EU I & II, and CK I? I guess they're pretty much closed concerning DLC, patches and stuff.

To my knowledge no. The whole story behind Paradox is a bit confusing, but Paradox Interactive is also a separate company, that once was a part of another company (also known as Paradox), but was bought by its current CEO. Though if my memory serves, Paradox Interactive's CEO still owns parts of GG.

Because Gamersgate thinks that 1$=1€. They are silly just like Steam ;). Also I already have my games on 4 sites. I don't wanna account on another one. So I would love to have their games here.

Why would Paradox want to come to third/second biggest digital game distributor? I wonder...
I would also like it. Why not.
