Some advice: Don't mention if you ever lose any rep(As it seems to drive some GOGgers insane.). Also: You did/said nothing wrong(that I can see or tell) in your most recent low rated posts. Some people just seem to get upset at the aforementioned rep talk so they start downrating everything you write after you say something that upsets them. This doesn't mean that everyone here does that or that you've necessarily done anything wrong just because a post(or two) of yours becomes low rated.

Don't worry about rep at the moment, it's a number, Sure, It's an important number people may judge you by, but if you forget about it you will be fine.

On another note, just to kick the hornets nest, I think I have too much rep

I don't see why they can't just leave it at 0 and give a fair chance from there. I'm sure even SimonG could find this agreeable if this person were to become a proper member of our community.

Il tell you right here :), its the fact that you created users just to give yourself +rep (which only serves for giftgetting as far as i can see)
Now admittign it is noble, but why should you be rewarded +rep for admitting doing something stupid?
Think of it like this:
If you do a crime, and admit to it, you get a reduced sentence, you are NOT rewarded a 1000 bucks, as that would encourage more crimes.
But instead of getting lets say 1 year in prison, you might get 1 year peroll or whatever :)

Now i think a lot would disagree with that ideology, but luckily for me im not interested in claiming gifts so i dont need rep :) (I'd rather have someone with less dispenseable income get the gift, as i know that I could buy it if i really wanted)

On the contrary in the instance of "rep" we are actually all both judges and executioners, and this is actually very similar to a trial in the form that he is currently making his plea, he has his lawyers (mostly you guys) and his accusers ( i think you call them "haters")

On the instance of his "punnishment" (or sentence) this is basicly a people's court, and its quite interesting to follow :)

And yet, there is no jury.
In all honesty, this isn't a just trial (No trial ever is.) but rather a tug-of-war on the negative and plus signs, and people trying to explain why they are pressing him.

Plus, we are on forums, we should be more civil here rather then having to refer to such tools.
As members of a forum, we should be seeking the "Justified" outcome, rather then the "Desirable" outcome.
Sure, he doesn't deserve the plus rep, but he sure as hell doesn't deserve to be any more negative because of this plea, he should be left at the rep he started at, 0.

Best thing to do would be that we all stop throwing out +1's and -1's at him and that he starts taking part in threads outside this.. Basically help out people in general, have a chat and get to know people in the community and talk about games

Sorry, but I have to chuckle when I see another {variable number depending on the user settings}-pages thread about a similar topic. Why doesn't someone create a neat "code of conduct" that can be stickied or linked to?

Anyway, it is easy to be popular on this forum.
