I received my copy of Dead Space 2 today and in it there was a code for an Isaac Clarke inspired armour for Dragon Age 2.

i decided that i would ask here what other games have had free stuff like this included for another game.

Dragon Age:Origins had the Blood Dragon Armor code that was also good for ME2.
It amazes me to what lengths will they go to make us buy da2. After they destroyed the IP, it's kinda logical.

lukipela: I liked DA2, as did a lot of people.

This whole "DA2 was terrible" bandwagon is really old.
nobody \i know did't like it, I didn't like it, RPS didn't like it, online community didn't like it. What now? Shall we bicker and fight about who's right now? :) You are entitled to your opinion and if you like the game that's good for you, your money's not wasted.

I had more fun with DA2 than I did with DA:O.

Oh and to answer the OP's question, just look at TF2 and all those "promotional" hats that get people to buy the games they aren't even interested in.

And I quote: "i have several games that i have bought just for the TF2 items that come with it. I bought Monday night, Total war, and PvZ just for the TF2 hats. I also bought alot of stuff during the treasure hunt sale."

Your opinion has broken my brain.

Well surprise! Not every one feels the same way about a game. For everyone that doesn't enjoy a game, there is someone that does.

Indeed, I was just being funny.

There are people who hate my favorite game and people who hate yours. I do think however there are certain objective measures of quality for certain aspects of games. For instance, no matter what your opinion is of the rest of the game you have to admit the repeated content and locations of DA2 are an objective flaw.

Did you start smoking pot sometime after finishing DA:O and while you were playing DA2?

The only explanation I can think of..

It wasn't something that bothered me. Many games do the same thing and as long as I find the overall product fun to play, that's enough for me. But then, I rarely get my hopes up for a game. I leave that endless cycle of getting hyped then getting disappointed on release to others.

In the age of consumption, the only thing that matters is numbers (income, especially). The customers decide what is good, not "so called" experts, like you.

If many people like Dragon Age 2, it shows that the game IS GOOD. Because it found many buyers, and lot of them are satisfied with the game.

Your whining doesn't change a thing. If DA2 sells better than original, just wait for DA3 :D
