They said that to me too but then sent me the key about 2 hours later

I'm loving this game! Especially the melee combat is so brutal and feels a lot better than in most games. A bit like Condemned :)

Ok, the games been released for about 19 hours here now and I still can't activate it on Steam. I'm not entirely sure why, but apparently someones working on it, possibly maybe, and I may be able to activate the game sometime in the future.

Dumb suggestion, but did you restart Steam? I had to before it started working.

I tried. No this is an issue with the keys themselves and it appears I'm going to have to go to the place I got it from and try for a new key or refund. Apparently retailers have been given the wrong keys for the region. As ,least that is the word thus far. Steam support seems to be saying it's because keys mean for Eastern Europe ended up in Western Europe. Yet this seems to be effecting people outside of Europe.

Hmm, I might have been lucky then. I got my copy from Amazon.co.uk and the key registered fine with Steam, saying region Western Europe.

Giantbomb quicklook makes this look better than I thought it was. Seems much more immersive and solo friendly than Borderlands, unless the video was deceptive. Might get this at some point...
