Trailer for a new zombie game popped up today, trailer is pretty and well-done, not a peep on gameplay during it though. Apparently supposed to be an open island type zombie game where you have to scavenge every day items to beat zombies to mulch, going to some realism in limited supply of guns and ammo. Also some RPG elements rumored.

I often bemoan about the poor quality trailers and use of CGI in modern marketing. This, however, along with a few select other titles this gen have really made exceptional use of not only CGI, but strong film making techniques.

I reserve my excitement though, since it's only a a CGI teaser/trailer/shortfilm(?) for the game.Though it is deep silver and they have made some excellent titles thus far.

Heck, if half of the stuff in the trailer is possible, then we have a very nice game in our hands.

I really don't even care as long as I get to kill zombies, and there is NO time limit. Just me and a bunch of "tools" to get the job done...
Yeah, I just mentioned this in another thread. Very impressive trailer for a game that I've had my eye on for some time (although not so much thanks to the fact that the publisher decided to hide it away until now).

By the sounds of it the procedural damage to zombies is still in place and now there's coop that you can drop in and out of without breaking the pace of play for those who remain standing against the horde.
I'm excited. This could be cool. Nice trailer too, found out about it through Art of the Title.
The trailer is an excellent bit of filmmaking. I hope the gamemaking is equally good. I do like the concept of relying on being crafty with what's in your environment to make-do for weapons. I hope the game can generate as emotionally evocative moments as the trailer, I just find it unlikely.
Nice little teaser. It's got me intrigued, but I'll have to wait and see a game-play trailer before getting excited.
The trailer is great, but its just a trailer, it doesn't show anything right now.
So, it's like Dead Rising meets L4D at a tourist resort? I could get behind that.

This is the kind of game I've always wanted, and am still looking for. For now, my stockade o' doom in Minecraft will have to suffice.

It is Techland, Deep Silver is only publisher.

:D
I remember seeing screenshots of this in a PC gamer back in 2008. I thought it looked promising but then I never heard anything about it again.

Judging by the trailer, I'm hoping for a story driven game rather than a "LOL PEELZ HERE" game.
...aaaand there's already a Minecraft spoof of it.
