I could put together a pretty well-written (not a naatiive), detailed review PRAISING it, but why should I bother, go and try demo :-P
I'm going to step in and say two things you guys won't like.
1. Calm down about the Anti this and Anti that crap people like to spew shit at services.
Steam is a great service, great prices, they've given me refunds with no whining, and you can play games offline anytime, and it doesn't screw up your PC.
2. Games for windows live is a sad little piece of software, but you will not find it hurting Dawn of War 2 in any way. GFWL is a good matchmaking service, the voice works well and there is no lag using the GFWL/Steam combo to play DoW 2.
I think being critical of services is fine, but people need to stop being so anti things just because it gives you a stance and a different opinion.
Game creators deserve to have their work played, if you have to jump thru DRM or services you don't like, then just do it, they put in alot of hard work.
So if the game interests you then you should unfortunately have to get over your prejudice against certain silly piles of code.
Then again maybe you will all think I'm too relaxed.
