F4LL0UT: This. It's insane. That the European PC version won't be affected makes the censorship even more absurd.
That sucks, but knowing Ausfailia it's probably censored here too.

Crosmando: How does the multiplayer work in the Dark Souls games? I know that it has something to do with players "invading" the worlds of other players while one the single-player campaign, but is it optional, can you play completely offline and ignore that?
avatar
GastonArg: you can play the whole game offline, are you missing a lot? not really, I played dark souls 1(120+hours ) on my xbox 360 offline because I hate some of the things of the online gameplay , like being invaded while I was playing the game it just adds more to the game but in a different way and it's a thing that or you love or hate. Like pvp (with lot of delay...at least for me)
Some pros that I can think is the help of other players against a boss for example but I dont like that either, it takes away everything that dark souls is, I mean if something is hard and someone else helps you out when you finish the game it's not the same, you dont get the same sense of accomplishment or seeing a message in the floor and spoils you what is going to happen, yes it will help out but you are spoiling the game in a way, but then again this is just my opinion and it is very subjective .
Imho, it's best to finish the main game on your own at least once, so you can play at your own pace, explore the world, enjoy the creepy atmosphere etc. You can still get into online multiplayer after that, once you're familiar with everything. But I guess some people enjoy going co-op ( or PVP ) right from the start.

But even then you should be able to get the game uncut if you grab the PC version.

Were the first two censored? Afaik they weren't particularly heavy on the gore or nudity. Then again, living in Germany, I know how video game censorship can be seemingly random at times.

Edit: Never mind -- I guess you guys were talking about South Park. :P

I hope we were. Else someone just got some really confusing information about Dark Souls 2.
No I was referring to SP
Regional locks are BS, still living in South America isn't that bad for the prices, we can get the Brazil ones and they are pretty cheap (second to Russian) but to think that this isn't bad just because we got cheaper prices is a shitty way of thinking...

I agree with this but still I dont like pvp or the on-line features of the game

I tried to buy the game from here http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=br but it doesnt work, once I made the payment the store detects I'm from Argentina and change the currency to dollars, so I will buy it from nuuvem.com.br , it says that the game is only locked on japan :/ I sent them an email, I will post the answer as soon as I get it.

EDIT: Everyone can buy it from nuuvem, only japan is locked, they sent me this email:

Congrats on the game! Hope it arrives safe and sound (in your account, because you'll be getting a code, and not a physical copy).

Thanks, now is time for the looooong wait :( (release date 25th of april )
It's funny to see twitter people who are usually PC gamers rushing to get this game on Xbox or whatever. The idea of not having the patience to wait a month really baffles me. I guess they want to be playing it while it's the hip new thing people are talking about, but that's never been a thing for me either.
yeah I only play console games if they are exclusives(like DS1 was in the beginning ) I will always choose a pc over a console no matter what (and I love consoles)
