Who knows it that was what they were really thinking about? It could've been a game that stuck close to the original, with bits added in to lengthen the experience that would be true to the source material.

The one time I saw Macbeth, it was the Roman Polanski film, I was in 9th Grade, and we saw boobs of ugly witches with nipple piercings. It was Polanski all right.

They should make The Gulag Archipelago as a first person prison simulator set in real time... lasting TEN YEARS.

Mmm, good idea - ten years in real time, with no pause option.
Or make it a tycoon game. Prison Tycoon already exists, so they just change the concept a little.
Bah, I should stop it already or someone might use it as an inspiration.
