Am I the only the one that suspects that the release of Dragonshard plus:

(from the site maintenance update)

...and man do we ever have a great week-long promo starting for you guys tomorrow.
could mean a D&D promo?

Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale 2, Temple of Elemental Evil, Neverwinter Nights

I'd buy the first four on that list if offered at a good price. Have ToEE, don't want NWN (one-man party in a D&D game... no thanks).

Seems far too soon for those games to go on sale, considering they're still relatively new on the site.

Wouldn't mind at all obviously. Just doesn't seem likely.
It'll probably be a week long 75% off Big Rigs sale or something like that.

Long as it isn't another of those 50% off!! If you buy all of them. Else 30%!

Lol, it's 60-75%

And Jowood promo. Gee, I guess we should've guessed that one with their bankrupcy xD

I b wrong. :-(

Tis JoWood promo.
Not impossible, but on the other hand, D&D titles are not only GOGs bestsellers, they are supersellers.

Why would they want to make a weekend long promo with D&D titles, if they sell that good without any promo?

Cuz many of us already have on disc but would buy GOG versions. But as said, it's a JoWood promo.

At least I was right about it being a disappointing sale.
Meh... the sale includes Gothic 2, which would have been my choice of free game for the TW2 preorder bonus. Might as well pick it up now for $3.99, but that leaves me with a choice of four games: Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Realms of Arkania 1 & 2, or Realms of Arkania 3. None of which peak my interest to any great degree. Any recommendations on that?

Pick Beyond Divinity, or Realms of Arkania 3 if you like classic feel

Sadly again not a single of these games is on my wishlist so in some ways I have to agree.

Cool. Leaning towards Realms of Arkania, but the Divinity series sired Divinity II, which looks interesting (tho the early stories in that series sound a bit generic).

Also, someone kick me for leaving Planescape: Torment out of my first post.

Nah, you'll have to live with a shame, that's enough.
