Playing Civ IV can be such fun, but other times it can be so so damn frustrating.
Berlin is going to be mine now, after the damned Germans just declared war on me.
92 Cavalry and 35 Riflemen are going to make their lives miserable, I promise you.
Quitting isn't an option either, I'm not stopping until all of Germany is MINE.

At least this time I've got something for the assholes, and I do mean assholes.
Fuckers have declared war on me THREE TIMES and it's only the 1700's, and for no reason.
Forgetting the fact I've never done anything to them, three times is just.... bullshit.
5 of their cities are within two or three turns of reaching, and they'll be mine soon enough.

You guys ever get really annoyed with the AI declaring war just out of the blue?
Each time it happens, I get more angry, but more determined. Pissed Into Determination.
When I get more determined, I find myself playing better, and am ready.
Kicking their asses becomes easier, but also more enjoyable.

Just thinking about it while typing this has me foaming to go finish the job.

And yes, this is describing a real, current game of Civ IV I am playing as I'm typing this. Actually been playing this game for about two weeks now. I always play marathon speed, huge map, and random civs for me and the AI. In this particular game I was the French, and doncha know right on my eastern border was..... yep. My southern border used to be split between the Ottomans and Ethiopians, but those civilizations are sadly, a thing of the past. My empire stretches from the north pole to the south pole on this very large continent, with only the Germans left on my eastern border. But that too is about to change........ MUHAHAHA

Heh, my wife is German so I often choose Germany when starting a Civ game. In those cases, it's usually France and Russia, especially Russia, that anger me with their demands. It's a good feeling working up to those Panzers and running over them.
