The worst that happens is you find out you could have saved $2.

If that'll ruin your day, then I say wait. If you'll shrug your shoulders and say, "oh, well", then pull the trigger. Maybe.

Another option is to wait until the 29th - Thief is going to be on sale until then, so you'll still be able to buy it at $5; no loss over buying it for $5 tomorrow. On the other hand, getting it over and done with so it's off your mind is a valid reason to pull the trigger. Or maybe you want to play it *now*. As long as you won't regret missing a $2 lower price possibly showing up before the end of the sale, then go for it.

The sale itself is a game.

Check the OP for a link to a classifieds thread dedicated to the personal box deals - you might be able to find someone who has Thief at 2.49 and wants the deal you have on a given day!

I actually had Thief as my deal yesterday - if I could go back in time to help you, I would. :)

JMich: My guess/deduction from these 3 days is that the items in the daily chances are games that are/will be part of a bundle in this sale. I do believe we will have a thief bundle, though you'll probably have to pick everything if you want to get the -75%, or you may be lucky and get it in a mystery box for -75% on its own.
In other words, patience my young padawan.
Whats the likelihood either mystery boxes or community deals will have higher discounts ie 85 or 90%?. Seem an awful lot of 70-75% off stuff (indies a lot less)

Personal opinion, slim to none. Seems we again have a 50% blanket sale with individual and bundle deals being higher, usually between 66% to 80%. Alan Wake seems to be at 90% off in the boxes, and Trine has a 90% discount, but I don't think we'll see that many really high discounts.

On the other hand, I'm just a customer here, and even if I can make a few lucky deductions, I am mistaken often as well.
