genkicolleen: Yeah, especially since it was on sale for $7-something during the Luck of the Irish sale! I'm waiting, too ^__^
avatar
stg83: Some people got it for 2$ in the pot of gold, but my luck was pretty bad on that sale as always.
Yes, SOME people got great draws for the Pot of Gold! Not I! lol~ Still, I could have gotten it for $7-whatever-it-was during that sale, even though the Pot of Gold didn't "pan" out for me *snicker*
avatar
Pheace: I imagine you drew that as a mystery game? It's not listed in the sales list for the luck of the Irish sale. Only Deponia for $3
avatar
fronzelneekburm: Exactly, Goodbye Deponia was one of the mystery games.
While that was a good price then, you essentially won it rather than being able to buy it for that

Yeah every time I rolled with 5 pots it was like getting Rick rolled with the same five to eight games over and over again. :P

Yeah, I wouldn't count that as a sale since it wasn't available at large.
They've had sales here before, haven't they? Feels like their games are on sale here more often than on Steam.

Hey, that sounds like most of my Blood Bowl matches :)
Perhaps, this weekend's GOG promo will be a Daedalic one?
Daedalic may love Steam but Steam doesn't play very well with some Daedalic games. Imagine the egg on my face as you read this - the on-the-fence about drm Momo gets a hard lesson in why drm is bad and doesn't like it one bit ;-p

Over a week later, Daedalic finally sent me "save games" for Chapter 3, 4, 5 and 6 (Despite the fact that I'm stuck on a bridge in Chapter 2 - D'oh!). This seems to be the "fix" for anyone that complains. No need to actually fix the bugs in the game - that would too much like work. :-(

Hehe...yeah the universe has always given me clear signs for never ever testing my luck and trying my hand at gambling, so I have never even considered participating in the Blood Bowl. :)

I think we knew that anyway ;)
Some only live life to make as much money as possible unfortunately and there is nothing wrong with these people. It's just the messed up world we live in. Don't hate the player, hate the game. :P Most people don't have the luxury to not live life to make as much money as possible. :( And yes, Steam is bad because DRM is bad but Steam is not as bad as people think. You are getting screwed(ripped off) with Steam but they make the experience bearable. :)

I think it says less about Daedalic's love or dislike for Steam and more about the typical Steam customer base, namely that it is notoriously difficult to achieve decent sales at full price on Steam. It's why games are much quicker to reach discount on Steam than on GOG.

While smaller, GOG's customer base tends to be more willing to spend more money per head on new releases on the whole.
