cioran: Anyone play Drakensang? It looks really good, but I haven't found many reviews.

Mentalepsy: I was looking at that as well. I tried a bit of the demo, but I wasn't really in the frame of mind for it at the time. For $5 I'll probably get it.
Anybody know anything about Elven Legacy?

LOL, that's pretty much my attitude. I know I'll love TQ and SoZ. The rest is just a bonus.

honorbuddy: None of those games look that interesting to me. I kind of want King's Bounty though, everybody is always saying how awesome it is.

Cethlion: Worth a buy if you enjoy turn based strategy games like heroes of might and magic.
The exspansion should be coming out before the end of the year.
I was looking at Elven Legacy and Drakensang, Anybody know if they are worth picking up?

Drakensang is supposed to be awesome if you're into RPGs.
Nothing really interesting for me, especially since I still have a mountain of RPG backlogs.

I'm kind of surprised at the sleeper hit status that game has achieved, because its appeal seems a bit eclectic to me, but I really liked it and can't wait for the expansion. It sometimes gets a little grindy and the enemy armies are a bit repetitive, but it's very addictive and very good at continually pulling you one step forward. There's a good bit of content, as well; it kept me pretty busy for a few solid weeks.

I've played both Drakensang and Elven legacy, so I'll toss out my opinion on both. Drakensang was a very enjoyable and well-done RPG in the classic cRPG tradition. If you enjoyed the likes of the Baldur's Gate series then I'd highly recommend it. Elven Legacy is billed as the sequel to Fantasy Wars, but is really more of an expansion when considering game length and near identical game mechanics. It also has a few stability issues, although thankfully there's an autosave after each turn so the random crashes are just mildly annoying. The campaign is pretty short, and the missions aren't as well designed as those in Fantasy Wars, but it's still good for a weekend of TBS fun. Definitely not worth buying at full price, but at $5 worth picking up if you enjoy tactical TBS games.

Neverwinter nights 2 is no longer available. As to whether it will be made available again... is anyone's guess.
Also, games that are listed as on sale on D2D UK, are also on sale on D2D US, just not advertised.
