That D2D 5th Anniversary sale continues with games like Thief: Deadly Shadows, Assault on Dark Athena, Saint's Row 2, and Serious Sam Gold for $5. While it's 5 Euros for other countries, games like Saint's Row 2 and Assault on Dark Athena are usually much, much more than that.

Except that Saints Row 2 is restricted to NA and the UK only and Assault on Dark Athena is NA only.

Whoops, sorry about that. And that stinks about regional restrictions.

That and the UK version of Saints Row 2 is 166% the price of the US version.

NO worries. I'm just pissed because I actually wanted Dark Athena. Bloody Atari scum.

Thats a real shame as I have been enjoying the new version of Butcher Bay lately, was going to move on to Dark Athena when I finished it. I know Tigon came under a lot of flack from their fans for the poor support and DRM the game had, now this will only piss off customers even more. Saints Row 2 is also quite a gem of a game. Better then GTAIV in many respects.

Did they get rid of TAGES for the D2D version? If so, I may just have to re-buy this D2D one.
Glad I live in the U.S. ...for now. Can't wait for the Indie and War games week.

Those are some nice deals... Though I might wait till next week's deals before buying anything.

For Dark Athena, did it have TAGES on it?
Anyone have the specifics on D2D's DRM? Also comparisons to Steam/Impulse/GOG would be great.

I haven't been able to verify, I haven't run the game yet, but installation didn't prompt for a CDkey, I don't know how to activate things that use TAGES.

I hope to High Hell it doesn't. TAGES was on the retail copy, and it only gives you the ability to install it on three "machines". Non-revokable.

Does D2D allow gifting of games like Steam does? I looked around and couldn't see anything. If it does, let me know and we can definitely work something out, Bansama. :)
