Anyone know if the gamersgate copy is the uncut version?
Whats the difference and how do you know which you have?
Is there a censored version?I played it ages ago,but it hasn't any crude or sexual content, what they've censored?

If memory serves, a scene with nudity.

No idea now, but I recall the Adventure Shop advertising Culpa Innata Uncut as an exclusive some time back.
well this version is uncensored http://us-adventureshop.gamesplanet.com/buy-download-pc-games/Culpa-Innata-:-Uncut-Version-1198-45.html and from what i know is that the steam version is censored but i don't know about the gamersgate copy

Steam versions are usually censored for whatever stupid reason. They also refuse AO rated games like Manhunt 2.
I can see steam refusing AO rated games but why censor some games?

Same reason they force international versions and such, they just don't want to deal with possible hassles and complaints from hosting adult content in regions it might not be okay.

Companies tend to do whatever they can to avoid potential problems.

Ah, OK, no biggie so, cheers :)
From a reviewer on the game page at GG:

"The definitive upsides:

These are the atmosphere and the immersion of the world the game presents, along with the characterization of the main characters and the NPCs.

And yes, also the mature content is kept hot and sizzling in a mature way. This is not just for the M-rating but actually is part of the story. And I totally dig that!"

Take what you will from that....
Isn't Gamersgate from UK? I think Culpa Innata had the same deal as Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy, only the US version had the censoring, the UK/Euro game shouldn't have anything cut.
I've played the Gamersgate version and don't remember any nudity.

The uncut version is only sold at "The Adventure Shop". If it's got Strategy First listed as the publisher, it's definitely the cut version.

That's because you played the censored version.

No, I think they're Swedish. Anyway, that makes no difference because they have licensed the game via its US based publisher who only published the cut version. Besides, this isn't a US = censored, ROW = uncensored thing like Fahrenheit, this was only released censored initially and then they released an uncut edition exclusively at the Adventure Shop (with online activation). Someone persuade them to release it at GOG... the exclusivity has got to have run out by now.

Does anyone know a way of contacting the developer?

Had this game for a while on Steam, but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. Anybody here got a recommendation?

Ah, I though Europe would have received a uncut release from the start. Well, thanks for the clarification.

The game's forums seem to still be up.
