Don't you think you're over reacting ?
It's not like your "intellectual property" is your buisness and money incoming.. So basically if you're not a professionnal reviewer gaining money from your posts, and seeing the lack of comments on your blog, i'll say you're not losing much and you can't do anything against him.

xXShaddowTXx: LOL I know right. Sorry for the rushed look of my post, I was excited. I would try and clean it up but.. not much I could do.
LMAO LMAO!!!

Really sorry for the double post.

I just got a message from him (he tried commenting on my review) he said:

"hey man i hope u know that this isnt copyright and u cant do anything i copyrighted it as soon as i got your message it now legally belongs to me "

Yeah, screw 72 hour warning I'm reporting him now.

It's not about money. It's about someone else passing off your work as his own, which is just wrong any way you look at it. Credit where credit is due.

Agreed. I had similar situation in the past. "Fortunately" in my case stealing person was one of editors of "big web page", so it was enough to type an email to page's editor-in-chief. Anyway it's really bad behavior and should be condemned.
Anything come of it yet? I'm curious.
Man... some people just exist to add weight to Earth...
Unbelievable.
7 billion people on this planet and most of them are idiots.
I really hope you can take this guy down.

I love that the guy thinks that putting a copyright symbol at the end of the review somehow makes this whole thing "not plagiarism."

Back when Game Informer ran the exclusive on BioShock's redesign, I managed to obtain scans of the magazine from somewhere. Watermarked on each image, in the middle was "(C) DEMI 2006". Y'know, because you can claim copyright on stuff you scan from a magazine...
Well....hes an idiot.... there's no other way to put it...

Psyringe: He might be just a kid who doesn't know better - I suggest to calmly explain to him that copyright doesn't work like he thinks it does, so that he might learn something.
Nah, just tell him that you just copyrighted his mommy, and if he doesn't want to lose her he better give your stuff back!
Ok...
