Todit: to join say how much you love steam.
We hate Steam, that's what we do, you know.
I love Steam for the sales and the connectivity with other players.....but to be honest: I love GoG more ;)
Never really understood all the fuss around CS games, look boring as hell to me. :/

Not in, but thanks.
@OP Not much.

Not in, thanks for the giveaway.

The most played game for me (CS 1.6). Never got much into CZ nor did I with Source.
Time total: more than 2-3k+ hours - have a few accounts, so I don't wanna bother with exact number :P

note: and that's since Steam records time played... :D

Aaaaaargh, so much time wasted on this sh... I mean crap. :p
Thanks for GA. I've seen that it's possible to run the game through Wine (and I'm naively hoping that it will come to Linux soon) so I was actually going to buy CS GO if it gets a decent (deep) discount during coming sale.

I appreciate the convenience of a downloader and an updater build in Steam client. The rest of it is either stupid (always online, regional pricing and restrictions) or I simply don't care much about (trading cards, achievements, social features). I'll understand if I'm excluded from the draw for not praising Gaben and Steam before every meal. ;)

It is.
But it is recommended to have a good PC.

My Celeron G530 and geforce GT430 couldn't really cope with it well.
note: I don't think I've ever played it on Windows though, might be just too heavy for my machine.

We talk about genres and the taste of people. For you it's crap...for others CS might be a balanced pvp game. Personally, I can't get along with point and click games so games like Runaway and even Monkey Island doesn't interest me at all. :P
Call me skeptic but I think the sole purpose of this thread is to cause a flame war: very doubtful there will be a winner. OP's join date supports this too...
I like Steam, but if the same game is available here, I buy GOG version.
Is CS: GO good like 1.6? I used to play a lot, my favorite FPS :)
Thx for the GA.
