Looking good, an improved Crysis 2 and I like bows, so I'm looking forward to it. :)

First preview message from XBOX related website.

Second preview message from XBOX related website.

Also, the trailer was done on a console, you can tell by the movement of the character and his camera look.

Fuck you!

Haven't played the second yet, and I don't think I ever will.

EDIT: An XBOX related website telling me that the 'best looking' shooter is back. Sorry, but we went pass that like 6 years ago. Call me when you can load 4086*4096 textures on your crappy 512MB RAM... yea, maybe in 2025.

Let's not be pretentious just because it's a modern FPS. :P
Yeah I knew the first reply would be like this,

still I like the futuristic theme of the Crysis series. Most of the time they play it on PC and using an xbox controller for a more smooth camera movement, intended for a stabilized image in the final video capture.

Did you have a falling out with MS?

Don't worry I highly doubt it won't be released on PC. We should be getting PC footage when they want to show the new engine perks.

FPS game, on a PC, with a console... that is wrong in so many ways.

You're free to call me an elitist jerk.

If I like some of their products, doesn't mean I like all of their products. All current consoles are crap, and will remain that way for a long time (unless they can put a high end GPU and at least 4 GB of RAM in their next release). :p

In my purchasing habit part. Thanks to it, and its great friend called PS3, I won't be buying Crysis 2 and 3.

I really hope they will manage to improve the gameplay, that's my biggest gripe with Crysis 2, it was pretty boring, brain dead enemies, with some slight exception very linear levels and a very low difficulty.
Let me guess:

Another console port.
Right?
I'm sick of this.

Best looking game?
Wait... Consoles now have DX11? *goes to check* Nope.

I know, it's wrong to play such a shooter with a console's controler.

I'm kinda elitist too (on the PC side), but you have to understand the marketing and announcements of announcements these days. The first people they have to hit and hit hard, is the console crowd.

Crysis 2 was made mainstream, that's it. That's it.

Still, I like the futuristic theme, and the engine is way more refined now.
First CRISIS was EPIC, second was weak, easy, and boring, also there was a lot of graphic and AI bugs, and the ending was...oh sorry, there was no ending, the game just ended. :/ I was hoping they will make CRISIS 3 more like the first one and WARHEAD but seeing the return to New York, and all those weak looking aliens just makes me sad. :(((

but now there are 7 types of environments, that may end up being pretty cool don't you think? Jungles and all that, while inside NYC.
If they sort out the wonky ass Framerate of the second on on console (15 fps, I mean come on now), and have open areas like the first then the game will be a decent, pretty shooter. Which apart from the steallar mods, the first one was too.

Never liked the second one, far too restrictive and generic.
