Since this is the only forum I use I might as well ask here (and I know this question is super annoying, so sorry about that):

These are my important pc specs:
Geforce GTX 580
i7-2600@3.40
8gb RAM
win 7 64bit

And now the dreadful and annoying question: anybody have any idea how well it would run crysis 3 ??

I found this http://www.techspot.com/review/642-crysis-3-performance/page3.html
with an explicit mention of your gpu. Should be fine on medium-high
Maybe somebody knows games it can compare too (how well it runs). Things that come to mind is Metro Last Light, maybe even the witcher 2 or Crysis 2?

think your graphic cards might be a small issue if you want to run everything on high.

thanks, I think it will indeed be decent enough.
If Crysis 2 is anything to go by then I would be more concerned about whether your can maintain Crysis 3 rather than play it. Crysis 2 runs so poorly that I haven't even bought the new one.

Yeah, I know you are right but i do not feel like upgrading yet, since I haven't come across a game I couldn't run well with this setup as of yet (obviously didn't try crysis 3, or even metro last light).

Crysis 2 ran perfectly on almost the highest settings. Had to lower some things but not much (ligh AA and shadows I think)

Lucky you I suppose. I have been try to play that POS for years without technical issues every 2 seconds.

Yeah it's unfortunate because I think crysis 2 is actually a good game.

I borrowed the xbox version, atleast it works. It's ok but it's pretty bland compared to the first two games. Looks nice on PC when it's behaving. I hated the new alien designs, the squid beasts were so much cooler.

I played Crysis 3 with almost the same setup as you and only using a GTX 570 and Crysis 3 ran smooth on high settings with no issues whatsoever. You can even use the GeForce Experience thingy to setup graphics for you so you should be more than good to go.
Okay thanks for all the replies! Anybody here who still doesn't have Dungeon Keeper Gold? When more people want it, It goes in the order of the posts (earlier answer regarding the topic gets it).

I already have that masterpiece, but +1 for you!
Dunno, but it would surely run tons of games that are like million times better than all crysis games together
Your computer looks awesome.
