Alright out of sheer curiosity and feeling a little Diablo at the moment I decided to install Diablo 3 on my computer and it has the Reaper of Souls expansion. I already know the story (and to be honest its not THAT awful) and I heard this game is alot better thanks to patches and the new features added with this expansion.

Anyway I am gonna play as a Crusader because I am Sword Loving, Shield Wielding, Plate Armor wearing Warrior/Knight/Paladin lover. I can never bring myself to play as a Wizard or Archer or Damage Dealing rogues. Always the warrior tank.

So games like this has a lot of builds for their classes I am looking for a Crusader Build that can take a lot of punishment, while still doing a great amount of Damage with abilities.

Oh and he has to use a One Handed Sword (I am sorry a Knight needs he Sword) any good Sword drops?

How can I put it... well... there is no such thing as "build" in Diablo 3: you can switch skill back and forth as much as you want.

And yes, you'll definitely find one-handed swords, but there is no point in looking specifically for a sword.

I suggest you to try the game, then come here to ask for advices (when and if you need them).

There is absolutely nothing "definitive", so don't worry about messing with stuff!

Yes. Don't worry, it's really not a hard game to completely figure out. Optimize your DPS~Tankiness with your playstyle and that's about it.
And the story is not involving at all, it's just an exercise in recycling. Don't try to defend it ! :p

Its just that in Diablo 2 I went with a Hammerdin Paladin build and while the ability was powerful at level 3 it ended up making the combat even more repetitive and the guy's normal attacks are rather week. I was just hoping I avoid that with Diablo 3's Crusader.
Have fun.

That is your build. No stupid shit like in D1-2.

First of all, get lvl 70 and start doing public rifts for blood shards. Use them on Kadala to get your 6 piece bonus set Akhan. Yes, there are a lot of builds but there is one or builds that work nice on torment 6 mode or grifts 30+. Work on getting 2h sword "Blade of prophecy" and shield like "Hellskull" or "Frydehr`s wrath" ASAP. Here is the build for this weaponset (http://www.d3head.com/calculator/skill#zMzzGGK8VzrcS8MzkOd8czGJp8mzEmH8MzrKZ8zTeW8zTi68zuyB8zTGm).
Enjoy your stay in Sanctuary :)

Diablo 1 did not needed builds. Diablo 1 is the most simpliest Action RPG I have ever played on PC.

Warrior was easy, just increase his Sterngth and Vitality while increasing a liilte on dex for certain items.

Only thing that gets me about Diablo 1 is its butt slow character movement and constant clicking on the mouse to attack.

Diablo3 Monk (woko 2h build which is viable for doing 40+ grifts) these days is more clicking than everything in D1 :D When playing monk it looks like beating your kb / mouse.

No...but still, DH is considered the most "afk-er" class right now, since sentrys do the full job killing mobs.

Alright something is wrong. I am playing the game as its downloading. I decided to leave game, but for some reason in the battle.net client its, "Playing Now" game is still running. But I check task manager and its not so why is it still running. I cannot even really "Play" game for some reason.

I mistakenly added a point into the Bait-Posting skill, so I had to fully max it out else it would have been wasted, or I would have had to start a new life and live through everything again to get to this point without ever mistakenly adding points in skills that do not optimise my life or without experimenting since that would require me to start my life all over again.

If only life had this quality of life feature enabling me to change skills, instead of being artificially locked to skills that I would pick based on an online guide or on the situation that I was at the moment of picking the skills.

:D

I knew you would mention that, which is why I said "quality of life" feature. There is something very wrong game design wise if my only options are to start all over again or keep playing something that I am bored with even more and hope that 4 random items drop.

Not allowing reroll of skills in games where skills are such a core part of the game, like in Planescape Torment or Vampire Bloodlines is one thing, because dialog choices, story progression, access of areas and much more depend on which skills you pick... but to not allow easy rerolls in a game where the choice between summoning squirrels to pick gold or wolves to attack doesn't matter at all is just silly.
