I'm firmly stuck on part two.

My Kalashnikov seems to be ten rounds short.

I thought so, too! I asked four artistic friends of mine, but they weren't much help.

I'm content to wait a while. I expect someone more observant will tackle it soon enough!

I haven't received much PMs from people asking for help. Either not a lot of people are working on the puzzle, or they are silently working on it. Either way, the offer for PM hints stands.
