It depends on your socket type. But first answer that pops into mind is the very popular Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.

KneeTheCap: But as it did happen, I don't trust that thing anymore. Does any of you have any idea why the said fan decided to rebel? Should I replace it?
Up to you. If you want you can even get a passive cpu cooler. They already have them for graphics cards. Examples:

1) http://www.thermalright.com/html/products/cpu_cooler/hr22.html
2) http://www.acousticpc.com/nofan_cr-95c_copper_icepipe_fanless_cpu_cooler.html

So if your case fans are fine then you might want to consider one of these as an option.

As NowaAnglia said, Cooler Master 212 seems to be the most popular one, but personally I didn't like how massive they were and chose Cooler Master Vortex Plus - it is smaller and lower profile, meant for slim builds. But if your pc doesn't have windows then it doesn't matter how anything looks inside it, and the larger the cpu cooler is the better for cooling it is.
