DavidGil: Shattered,
No disrespect intended, but it is actually quite easy to guess what games are coming. 'Don't be an Outcast from Orion', in my mind, points to Master of Orion and Outcast being released tomorrow.
I wouldn't say it's a marketing strategy this time as we all have a pretty good idea what's coming, thanks to Outcast and Master of Orion being mentioned in a news release on the website as games that are coming. Rather, I'd say it's to let people who've complaining/wondering about the Atari games know that they're coming tomorrow.
Of course, it could not be pointing to the games I mentioned, but I think all evidence points to them and I don't think they're being cryptic. Thing is with the coming soon page, it doesn't give a date. The countdown timer does. So, I don't really know where you're coming from on this coming soon page being 'more informative' viewpoint.
If we didn't know what was coming though, I'd be more inclined to agree. Note: Not really agree, but I'd see more sense.
Granted, maybe people who don't view all of the news items etc. might not be too sure what's coming though.
Indeed, we may have a difference in opinion :) I find countdown timers like that obnoxious enough to base buying decisions on it.
I agree that some form of MOO and Outcast will probably be in there. Why they could not make it a "coming soon" item with proper game page and a proper graphic is beyond me. They obviously have the know-how to do so (this site is actually pretty great in that respect). The pointless "countdown" could have been replaced by an actually informative graphic, a release date, etc.
They /have/ a coming-soon page, and neither of those games are on there. That is not consistent, either (

Don't get me wrong, I love GoG, and have bought a bunch of games so far. I'd just hate to see their marketing team run away with really, really bad ideas (IMO, YMMV :)
