I used to love the old Tim Schafer´s games for PC, when Psychonauts was released it was a major surprise for me... But then, later, Double Fine focused in consoles, so I never bought again a game from them. Now they will release some of their downloadable games like Stacking and Costume quest for PC... Costume Quest is actually avalilable so I would like to ask... This game really worth buying it? Or it is as childish as it seems (and easy)?

I quite liked it, even though it's a bit childish. It reminds me of the good old days when games didn't have to appeal to just a money-wielding audience (i.e. people who are old enough to have a job) but you could make games that the whole family could enjoy. I've had fun with it even though I'm 24 but I suspect that's because I cherish my inner child :)

As for value, can't speak for that because I got the game for "free" for having a PSN Plus account. I'd say wait for a discount, if you're in no hurry to try it. Is there a demo available?
Costume quest IS childish by design, the point of the game was to make a fun little game that the whole family could enjoy and would want to play every year at Halloween.

The XBLA version definitely had a demo, I'm not sure about Steam. I liked it. I don't care about it being "childish." It had a distinct charm and imagination.
Well, I enjoyed it. It's short though.
It's quite easy, quite short and has 0 replay value. Has a few fun moments and a few frustrating ones, but once it's over you won't look back. Steam says I cleared the entire game and the DLC (grabbing all achievements) in 7 hours.
I played the 360 version, and while It's very easy it's also so charming that I played to the end and enjoyed it. It would be a great game to play with kids, maybe it's better suited to console because of that.
