Hi All,
after planning and tweaking the well known phpChess Script (thanks to Christian (the developer of that amazing software) for his help on it), the Tourney is ready to be started.
As this is a first try with a limited number of players (Tournament will start after 8 signups), the first Prize to be won is a smaller one.
1st Place: 1 GOG up to 20$
2nd Place: 1 GOG up to 10$
Rules:
It will be a Knock Out Tournament, after each match the losing player will be eleminated until there is one winner left.
All the Matches will be take place at the same time. The System allows that the match will be played in real time, when both players are online at the same time. If they are not, you can still make your turn and your opponent can make his turn later.
for each turn you have 1 day. If you are unable to make your move in 24 hours after your opponent made his, you have lost the match.

Everyone can sign up, but only the first 8 who signed up with phpChess and posted their Username here to participate (I have to approve your signup before you can do anything) will be placed into the tournament. Everyone else is free to play for fun :)
Experimental:
I am not sure yet how and if it works, but we have also a .jar File available for mobile gaming (you can connect with your Phone directly to the server by an App). I am unable to test it myself, but if somebody is interested to give it a try, please let me know by PM.
