stoicsentry: Yeah the ease with which people were taking Poland without even having other guesses kinda freaked me, so a little extra hint there... hopefully that will help.
Oh, ok... Damn, I was sure you meant "meeting place" literally. It was kinda too obvious, to think about it.

Frankly, I don't think this format works very well. Finding the correct answer in the first place may be a bit tricky, but it is too easy to simply wait for a while and check other people's answers to quickly identify the correct one.

Edit: I am referring to the case where there is only one right answer that that can be unambiguously identified from the clues.

Yeah, I tend to agree. I am not very happy with it. Getting clues so that it's obvious but yet not TOO obvious is VERY, VERY difficult. Also, even if the clues are vague enough, then it becomes merely a guessing game... which I don't think it should be necessarily.

I much prefer the yes/no format.

...which is a bummer since I really like the idea of doing it like this because people from all time zones get a chance.

One of the answers could be using PM. But it is not perfect as you are going to get a lot of them. :/

Edit: or maybe some google tool like in reaver's contest in the past?

or allow only one answer per user?

Yes, something like that might work, although it requires a lot more effort. As it is, it is much too easy to just copy someone else's answer. It would work better if you couldn't see what other people have said.
one vote per person per hour/per half hour

that should work don't you agree?

That's a possibility. I've liked the one post per person thing so far though because it makes it easy to track.

no edits would be cool too cause people go back and add others people answers (like Garugo)
