carnival73: More or less - I'm finding that I can run ports that X were claiming to be 'broken' back in the day.

I'm discovering they were not broken, those attempting them didn't have updated PCs at the time.

StingingVelvet: There are very few broken PC ports in my experience. Most games that people say don't work actually work fine on my PC and probably most PCs. You have to remember forums are horrible places to go when you want to judge how a game works, only the small percentage with problems are posting.

Actual broken ports would be Splinter Cell Doubt Agent, Saint's Row 2 and Resident Evil 4. And two of those were fixed with mods.
I've got Saints Row 2 to run on my system under XP however with only 1 gig ram, an Atholon XP Single Core CPU and mother board from 2003, it ran a bit slow.

I think when I upgrade, if I dual boot XP with Win 7 I should have no problems running SR2.

It's a broken as hell game on every system. There is a good mod to fix it though. Kind of irrelevant now though, just play SR3.

gameon: A list of games that were console exclusive and also on pc would be nice (think Gears of war, Halo etc)

carnival73: You mean the ones I've tried or you mean in general? Cuz if there's a complete list somewhere or console to PC titles I wouldn't mind taking a peek at it to see if there are any I'm missing that I can go searching for.

As for myself, I pointed out "Psi-Ops, Billy Hatcher, Devil May Cry 3, Legacy of Kain seris, Ultimate Spider Man, Enclave, Stranger's Wrath, Damnation and such." but I'm sure there are more but it's difficult to remember all of them. ....like Rogue Trooper, Thief and Prince of Persia just came to mind.
Both. Thanks for your suggestions.
