Pajama: I've downloaded 'Conquests of the Longbow' from the provided link and have done a quick Google search on how to run it via DOSBox but before I can even start here is where I get confused...
I know that GOG uses DOSBox so I assume that I already have it installed on my Win7 (64bit) machine somewhere. How do I get 'CotL' to find it or do I need to download DOSBox again and install it where I can find it and then run the game that way? Ideally, I don't really want two copies of DOSBox installed so any help would be appreciated :) Thanks.
GOG packages DosBox wrappers around their games rather than placing a single install of DOSBox on your computer that GOG then gets to recognize all of your DOS games. If you want to create your own DOSBox games you have to install DOSBox yourself (maybe with a nice frontend) and install the game into the folder DOSBox recognizes as its "C-drive". Some of the frontends also create wrappers a la GOG and typically make the whole process easier to do, so you may want to investigate them and which works best for you.
