Ok, I'm so sorry, I've now clicked on 7 different pages from two threads that were talking about this conference, and I STILL don't really know what happened.

And I don't see a news announcement about it anywhere. Is there one on the home page?? Guess it wouldn't matter if it's there, because NOTHING I click on on the home page works accept COMMUNITY and that didn't work twice today.

Please, can someone just summarize what the hell is going on??

And as for The Witcher 2, I purchased it at Amazon on March 1, 2012. Then I hear there's an "enhanced version" coming out, so I'm guessing I'm screwed, and I should not have purchased The Witcher 2 until the Enhanced Version came out, right??

I already own The Witcher Enhanced Version, and The Withcer 2 (regular version) but neither were from GOG. Should I double purchase them from here if I have to buy the new enahanced version anyway??

I'm so sorry, I've got so many questions, and for me the forums, well the whole GOG website actually, is just not very responsive today. It took me a while to click on all of those pages and when I still couldn't figure out the actual announcement, I just got tired and made this thread.

If it's inappropriate, then please some administrator go ahead and delete it for me.

I missed it too so I'm going by this post until I hear otherwise.

I think the Witcher interactive comic is only on iOS (Apple devices) but I wouldn't have thought it would be too difficult for it to eventually get to Android. Personally, I'd like to see the comic on my PC with a large screen (not overly fussed about the interactivity of it, a plain static comic would be fine by me).

I clicked on the link above and I thought it said if I purchased The Witcher 2 somewhere else (and I did, I purchased it at Amazon on March 1) that we could get the GOG version FREE (as a backup, not as a second copy) which would include the Enhanced Version.

Is this correct??

Also, I keep trying to add Fallout to my Account but it's never showing up and neither is My Cart. I know sometimes in the past you had to go through My Cart for a game even though it was free before it showed up under My Account. But My Cart isn't even showing up.

The whole website is funky today. What happens if the 48 hours goes by and I haven't been able to add Fallout due to this funkiness??

Okay, the first half of the conference was just talking about the XBox version of The Witcher 2, along with the enhanced edition (which will be free for everyone who already bought the witcher 2). Additionally, if you bought The Witcher 2 from any place other than GOG you can get a free copy on GOG as well.
There's also a Mac version of The Witcher 1 (exclusively on steam for some reason).
And a The Witcher interactive comic book for the iOS.

Then they announced some new games on GOG:
Assassin's Creed Directors Cut
Heroes of Might and Magic V with the two expansion packs.
Botanicula (from the same developers as Samarost and Machinarium)

And fallout is free for the next 43 hours or so.

I think that was all.

The site is pretty sluggish right now so that's probably the reason why. I tried to buy some games, the transaction never finished (it's still trying to validate my payment 2 hours later) I never received the confirmation e-mail and yet the games have appeared in my collection.

You better retry to add Fallout tomorrow when the site goes back to normal and it still doesn't work try contacting the support.

I appreciate this, it's pretty awesome that would let me get the enhanced version free since I already purchased The Wticher 2. But I don't know the details of how to make The Witcher 2 appear in my account.

A question: what if I have both retail (= collector edition) and GOG digital version already? Retail key will be "useless" or there will be maybe some "premium" content?

Will the guys who bought it on GOG be able to enter their keys just to satisfy their twisted desires of entering keys in places, or would that make the servers explode?
