The people over at hardware revolution haven't really been able to do a whole lot for me, nothing against them:

Nothing is overheating and there's otherwise no hardware problems. I've stressed my CPU and RAM to the max, and considering the note about Crysis below I don't think my GPU has any issues either. This is most likely a driver issue or my mobo is fried.

I've noticed when I play Crysis (which runs smoothly maxed out) the game will occasionally stutter and the audio loudly buzzes, like the rumbling of a controller on a table.

One other note is that when I put my computer together I didn't plug in the power outlet for the HD audio because I thought that only applied to sound cards. The regular sound outlet is plugged in. This couldn't be the problem could it?

I would go to the basics first. Check your BIOS settings.

I had a similar problem before and fixed it by setting RAM SPD timers to the one provided by RAM manufacturer.

I wonder how exactly it was similar.
Also I haven't changed any RAM SPD timers, so they should be configured to default.
I was testing my cpu and RAM to the limits, was able to play latest games withiut problem. But some games would crash on me with blue screen.

Once i set my ram timers in BIOS, problem was solved.
