Hi guys! I just have a simple suggestion which can be used by a lot of people here. How about a simple "game completed" checkmark indicating that the game was finished completely.

That way I can just have an indication so I can finish all the games I remember since i started playing.

On my account page I just hide the games that I've completed (but considering with some games it's unclear what would constitute "finished completely", I have my own method of what I consider completed). I've got 118 games hidden right now. o_0

If I were ever to finish one, I would do as SCPM does and hide them. I have maybe two hidden, freebies I have no interest in.

I would love to have a mark like that, of course hiding is an option but I also love looking at my shelf so hiding them would make it not look so awesome anymore ;-)

I use a spreadsheet (in Google docs) to keep track of this. I have hundreds of "physical" games so implementing this feature on GOG would not really help me.

For now I sort my shelf manually. All the completed games are on top of shelf, followed by the ones that Ihave installed, but not completed and the ones I've downloaded, but not installed.

And after a little while you completely forget what was happening, how you played your character (and how you thought of proceeding so as to keep to that personality), and what the hell you were supposed to do next. In this situation, you likely say "fuck it" and either toss the game to make room for another one, or restart from the beginning for the umpteenth time.

Yupp... I think that happened to 90% of the games I've played :(. Most notable is Mass Effect, where I literally finished everything (all 3 games and DLCs), but I never started the endgame and actually beat the game (the 3rd)...

That game is sooo worth it to finish. Every chapter is a true delight in its own right.

But then again, like Maighstir said, if you've forgotten everything about your character's stats or where you were in the story, it's pretty difficult to get back in.

I dropped Okami at what I think is the final dungeon, and it hurts my head just thinking about learning all the different attacks and magic brush moves just to be able to finish it.

Forgetting if you finished a game is a good reason to start playing it again .... and then realize your backlog is already too big to ever be defeated D:

I agree, Anachronox is awesome despite a few flaws and rough edges. I already made it to the final battle but several rounds in the game crashed. I was not amused and haven't tried to finish it ever since. :D

I think it's my PC's fault, the game crashed 1 or 2 times before and after reloading it everything worked fine so i'm sure i could get through the final battle. But it's been a few months so it won't be easy to get into the game again to finish it.

I can't remember if I had any bugs in that last fight, but there were a few in the course of the game.
Actually, since I've gotten older I find that crashes and small obstacles like that can easily throw me off a game completely.
But if the story is engrossing enough, then I guess you allways push through.
I made the wise choice of playing Knights of the Old Republic on the Xbox, which has some pretty nasty bugs in it, and there were several instances of what seemed like gamebreaking bugs, but luckily, I managed to trick my way past them with having lots of savegames.
