it's on my "maybe" list
This deal FINALLY did it...and I purachsed the set!
GK2 STILL has the scariest cut scene of any game I have ever played. I still get scared. I was playing late at night...it was dark...and the scene jumped me to no end! I still get nightmares...can't wait to relive it again...but this time...I will be ready for it!
Ugh... Right after I said - "Ok no more GOG games until I play through some of my pile" they go and do this!
Bought...
Having only recently had the opportunity to play through the first two, I can highly recommend this series. I had a magnificent time. I am unable to proceed far into Gabriel Knight 3 due to a graphical issue that some of us are experiencing, but from what I've seen it's just as good.

Wait, if I read that topic correctly, all you have to do is switch to a lower resolution (800x600) for that portion of the game, isn't that right?

Unfortunately, the game only displays the e-mail window on the in-game laptop screen if I run in 1920x1080 and sometimes in 1024x768. When doing so, it only shows part of the "window" and even then, it cannot be clicked on or manipulated. (Even clicking supposedly blank portions of my screen do not produce results.) 800x600 and 640x480 do not display the e-mail window at all. I can only assume that it is being shown beyond the visible resolution in those cases. You can see an example of the phenomenon in the screenshots attached to the thread.
Bought! Just in the nick of time;)
Thank you!
