The place is #GOG on IRC.QuakeNet.org (details below). The prize is a bunch of free games. To participate, all you have to do is get on the channel and keep your fingers crossed. Or, better yet, join in the old-school awesomeness of IRC chats. :) If you're lucky, you'll get a promo code and if you're even luckier, you'll end up being a #GOG regular! It should probably be said that you don't need a desktop computer to take part in an IRC chat. Many cell/smartphones can do it too (like my beloved Centro)

oh yes,
signing in with multiple clients will not help your chances? yes.
However, is it not allowed to sign in with multiple clients? I typically will sign in to irc on my laptop and my desktop because I will switch back and forth depending on which games I desire to play.

yep, but just now i tried with chatzilla insetad of the app i was using before and i could connect just fine.
Edit: btw i just made a counter until the lottery thanks to time and date, i am not 100% if it's correct since i am not so familiar with GMT so feel free to change if its wrong.
