JTD121: You know, now that I think about it, I think a GOG-packaged version would be a tad better. At least then, troubleshooting would be an order of magnitude easier :)

I wonder if EA would care if GOG made it a freebie, though.....
GOG still needs to negotiate and get EA's permission. Same goes with all the other freeware on the site. They need the publisher's permission no matter what.

Well, as EA is on board, I don't it would be too hard to get though.

Well, EA still sells The First Decade, on Origin too, and now that GOG has more flexible prices I could see TFD coming to GOG as well.

I wouldn't expect them to be free, unless they maybe release them all separate.

I could see it coming out the next time that EA releases a new C&C game or when they decide to do a first 20 years pack or similar.

It would be nice to have it patched up and easily installed though.
