Just came here to post this! Damn you!
One of these days I shall dig up my Tiberian Sun discs and play through the campaigns. My dad actually got me a Collector's Edition way back when - I've still got the (slightly deformed) Nod tin soldier staring down at me, and I've got the strategy guide lying around somewhere here. Dunno if the later came with the CE, though...
Think that was my first Collector's Edition, actually. Great game.
Anyone know how these things fair with Windows 7 and/or 64bit?

You could probably run Tiberian Sun & Firestorm in compatibility mode; if not, throw them in a VM, they're not so resource intensive.
Brilliant.
Well damn! I thought it would happen eventually but I wasn't expecting it this soon. That's probably now my favourite free game.
Holy SHI-!
The last decent C&C game...FREE!!

I was never able to get my hands on firestorm when it cameout, loved tib sun...WOOOoo! :P
Just a day after my friend got all excited about buying First Decade.. Wonder if he did;P
Good news, i'll spread it, thanks!:)
Funny fact, i own all the C&C games, never finished one. I wanna see that Tiberian Dawn mod for C&C3, at least something in the third installment won't suck. ;)

Thans for the link - great gaming and yes - Weeee
Damnit, I want these sitting on my GOG shelf!
Good move by EA though
On a side note, am I the only one who really loved Cabal? He's like the best megalomaniacal computer in any game I've played
Thanks for posting this. I've always wanted to try these.
I have a question for those more familiar with the games. I've downloaded and successfully launched the "allied" Red Alert. However, the instructions are a little vague: the "soviet" download seems to be another separate copy of the game that wants to install in the same folder, but apparently has different missions. If I want both of them, can they coexist somehow? If so, how? Should I just install one on top of the other?
OMG! Thanks for the post.
Downloading now...
