The orginal post was from 16th of october last year, apoc17 just bumped a really old post. It referes to the first time it came to the site.

No they don't, they can just restore the old page but you seem to be misunderstanding something. This news topic is not 'new', it's from october last year. apoc17 just ressurected it. There has been no official announcement of OFP coming back to GOG.
