More companies have joined the classic gaming heaven (that's GOG.com if you didn't know), and we just couldn't resist bringing you a pair of great games from Strategy First and Piranha Bytes next Tuesday.

Is Gothic 2 any good? I own it but never came around to playing it, I guess I could just try it out if anything.

Gothic 1 and 2 are basically the same. I think Gothic 2 is better thoug.

hmm... gothic might be a buy for me, if its cheap as all the other games i think it's definitely worth it as I never played it the first time around

It's newer so it has to be better, anyways it's not same story as it was about Gothic3.

I recently bought Gothic 2, looking forward to nabbing the first one!
Both are much better than Oblivion, IMHO.

I was never fan of Gothics, but Disciples ... That's a different story. I love Heroes of Might and magic and this game is somewhat similar, yet different enough to be fun even when I have my head full of heroes... So I know what I'm going to buy for sure :-P

Great news! I don't have a descent strategy game on my PC at the moment. Disciples will probably be an instant buy.
Keep 'em coming and I'll keep the wallet open, with me hovering over it in anticipation ;)
Seriously, no game service since stardock publishing has got me so pleased.

Didn't the Gothic games all come with StarForce?
It'll be removed for the GOG release, right?

Disciples 2 took away a lot of my holiday-break time a few years back. I've hunted around near everywhere trying to find a copy of the first game, so it will go right on my 'want' list.
Then again, Gothic. A few friends are big fans and keep recommending it, but I kept skipping it.
I'll get a coin and see what it lands on.
