I really like adventure games, but I'm not sure about this bundle. Too many unknown games, and I already have time gentlemen please and that other game that goes with it (forgotten its name :P).

So I'll wait for the min price to drop a bit more. Beside, I've already spent so much on games this week due to various bundles, the because we may sale, etc. It's not even summer sale time yet and my wallet is already deflated; I should start saving up :]

Blaaaah, get it. Gemini Rue is both big name and awesome, TSWCE is really unique and wonderful and has a terrifyingly huge amount of flavor text, 1893 is very cool, and The Shivah is fantastic (Haven't played Metal Dead yet). Also, having money is for losers. Poverty, that's what's all the rage nowadays. ;)
Bought, mostly for 1893: A World's Fair Mystery and The Shivah. I wonder why they are using a decreasing minimum price, though. That's a really stupid idea for obvious economic reasons.

Yeah, it's... a really weird sales strategy, although it may net them a lot of last day purchases from people waiting for the price to drop. I recall it being a pretty small drop though, isn't it like 5 cents per 200 sales or something?

Per 500 I think actually. =S

If you don't have Gemini Rue, you need it and this bundle is currently the cheapest way to get it. Gemini Rue is a pretty big name amongst indie adventures, I'd wager it was a lot of people's adventure game of the year 2011.

I predict that the people waiting a whole fortnight for the price to drop will be rewarded with a 25 ct discount in the end (if at all that much). ;)

IronStar: They still haven't sold 2000 bundles, and indie grant gets some money every 2000 bundles sold.
They add 2000$ to the dev indie grant every 15000 bundles sold .

I guess the dev grant thing is meant to run over the span of several bundles (otherwise they'd definitely be megalomaniac :D).

I am not sure if it really meant to be like that, as, regarding the unlockable extras, they were probably expecting ~30 000 sold bundles.

I really hope this bundle will get some more success over the next few days...
The organizers of the bundle have adapted to the disappointing sale figures - now the bonus content will be unlocked with the next price drop, which currently means after the next 92 sales!
Sad that more people aren't jumping on this, I'm really pleased with the games. I hope it doesn't dissuade them from doing more stuff in the future.

Well I'm definitely glad for that, but it is disappointing that this bundle isn't seeing more buys.
A World's Fair Mystery is getting a lot of praise here and there, so I went for it even though I owned most of the bundle already. I really hope they get some traction, would love more adventure-only bundles...
Yeah, it turns out they were really hoping for the 15.000, because the Indie Dev grant is very dear to them. They'll probably present a few projects the grant could support during the next days or so, maybe that will draw in some more people who already own the games but would like to support future projects.

I fear that apart from the bad timing, another reason for the low sales could be precisely what makes this bundle special: That it's focused on one genre per bundle only and doesn't offer much variety genre-wise. Which is a pity, I really like the idea.

I think the even bigger problem are the steam-only people. They see only three games in this bundle which have been available in various sales and bundles before.

It is extremely unfortunate, because I love this bundle too. Every single game interests me and works on my ancient laptop. I've already finished Metal Dead and The Shivah. Both were rather brilliant. Metal Dead is a bit easy, but it has a nice length, I think it took me around 5-6 hours. There was a lot of gore, music was nice, and it had some silly humor, just like in Ben and Dan games.
