GOG has lined up new games, new publishers, new site updates, and other new things for you as we roll into Spring. But we're not going to talk about them here in this news. Instead, we're inviting you to attend CD Projekt's CDP Days conference—online!

CDP Days Online Conference - 12:00 pm - 13:30 pm E.S.T. on 14th of April 2011

Watch the conference starting on the 14th of April at noon EST (16:00 Greenwich Mean Time) while CD Projekt RED talks about The Witcher 2 and showcases exclusive gameplay, and then at 1:00 p.m. EST (17:00 GMT) GOG takes the stage for a half hour to wow you with all the fantastic news that we have coming soon to an awesome downloadable games distributor near you.

You'll be able to watch the CDP Days conference LIVE on GOG.com, so be sure to check in with us next Thursday and find out which publisher will be responsible for the next wave of GOG titles!
Don't know if this is asked before. Will Marcin be there on the conference?

Isamael: The day someone tracks down and secures the rights for WH40K: Chaos Gate I'll crack open and down two bottles of Bailey's on almost national television. Of course, by then, entertainment will likely consist of watching flying pigs. Sadface.

MaceyNeil: Nah Civ 5 man, theres no reason it 'shouldn't' be DRM free considering the civilization engine has been gathering money off the same backbone up until then and the amount of loyal fans who have purchased consequetive previous versions.
It's unfortunate but these gaming companies are simply going where I cannot follow... into the acrid fog of 'steam'.
...Civ 5 is a brand new game, well worth your money and does not bring any DRM hassle with it through steam. I'm not sure what you've been smoking but it's neither good, old or honest. I suggest you just go onto steam and buy Civ 5, enjoy it! I turn to GoG to rekindle my hope of replaying games from my childhood that, right now, can be neither found or played.
GoG announces that a big new publisher is coming on board.

Meanwhile, EA asks sites to stop distributing Ultima IV after not caring for years.

These events happen damn near simultaneously.

HMMMMMMMMMMMM
I suppose it could be EA, after their comment about continuing old franchises I guess they could use GOG to gauge which games are still popular :)
Is this list of expected publisher cut to: EA, LA or Square Enix?
I hope the full video will be soon on youtube, because I can't follow the stream :(

Seconded, though I'm sure there will be plenty of threads and discussion after the announcement...
Why don't you gays get Timegate Studios on board? I would love to see the Kohan series and the Axis & Allies RTS here

tburger: Ahh.. Quotation from memory: "I shall lead my valiant brothers to the very edge of Eye of Terror. And beneath our hands Zymron shall DIE!"

EA published most of classic Warhammer titles but even if it's EA that expected BIG publisher will be announced next week - I doubt those titles could be re-released without some kind of agreement with Games Workshop. But all those problems could be solved (see Atari - Hasbro case).

Anyways I would buy every single classic warhammer title starting from Space Crusade publsihed on gog :-)
God, I am so happy that there are still people who play Chaos Gate. I am currently in the middle of campaign, preparing to strike Chaos Temple. I hope GOG will publish Chaos Gate (And Space Crusade! And Final Liberation!) one day as my old disk with Space Crusade is just pirated copy...
Now, I know that Space Crusade crashes on Win XP (but I solved that problem and it works fine on my computer) and there are not many enthusiasts of this Game. So, my question is: does anybody knows if it is possible to play Space Crusade on-line, using Hamachi or any other software? I always wanted to lead Chaos Marines against my bro, who particularly loves Ultramarines...
Will be thankful for an advice :-)

Best regards to Isamael and tburger (and other Space Crusaders) :-)
By the way. I hope on Thursday it is going to be EA. And Wing Commander saga.
I will buy whole series kneeling in front of my computer. Keep fingers crossed!

If I wanted steam i'd go buy half life I don't want steam shit with my games it's my consumer choice and as a consumer I have a right to be able to choose not to have it on my system just like the developers decided to go with steam and hence choose not to have my business. so you an them can go suck each others proverbial ass.
STEAM IS DRM AS IS ANY FORM OF WRAPPER OF THE PROGRAM THAT IS TRULY UNNECESSARY.
